The present Curricula at the University of Cádiz for the obtaining of the Chemical Engineering certificate (Resolución de 2 de octubre de 2000 de la Universidad de Cádiz, B.O.E. núm. 256 de 25 de octubre de 2000) establishes the final project as part fo the courses in the degree.
This course is compulsory, and it is worth 6 practical credits under the following name: Developing a project or technical work linked to the degree and to all the fields of knowledge within it.
The Final Project is conceived so the student applies all the knowledge acquired through the degree. This project must have application in the professional area of this Engineering within the current legal setting.

The composition of the Board, requirements and format of the Final Projects (PFC) are shown in the  Regulations for the Final Project Course in Chemical Engineering. These regulations presents different sections, named titles, in which various aspects related to the award, realization and assesment of this course, are discussed.
