Last Friday, March 6th, two new conferences took place in our center.

The first of them took place at 12.30 and belongs to the Inorganic Chemistry of Nanomaterials cycle. At first, it was going to be presented by Ph.D. José Manuel Domínguez, but finally was presented by Professor Serafin Bernal Márquez, from the Inorganic Chemistry department in our Faculty, who offered the audience a masterly conference named “Nanomateriales, Catálisis y Medioambiente” (or “Nanomaterials, Catalysis and Environment”).

At 16.30 the conference belonging to the Chemical Science and Technology Masters degree started. Under the name “Producción Biológica de Caroteorides” (or “Biological Production of Caroteroids”), Ph.D. Dr. D. José Luís Barredo Puente, director of I+D Antibiotics of León, was in charge of expanding the audience’s knowledge of  this field.
